These stuffed burgers are an impressive meal you’ll want to serve your favorite family and friends.
Make it a stuffed burger party and have everyone stuff their own burger with the ingredients they like. Much like a pizza making party where all the ingredients are out and everyone stuffs their own burger. Trust me, it’s a blast!
Have a stuffed burger party and have everyone stuff their burgers with their favorite ingredients. It’s a blast!
I prefer to use ground beef, but this can also be substituted for ground turkey or ground chicken for a lower calorie option.
To make this recipe, you’ll need a stuffed burger mold which I’ve linked below. Fortunately, this is available at most stores.
There is a little learning curve on getting the proportions right for the stuffed burger.
For instance, you don’t want to use too much ground meat because you won’t have enough room for the stuffed ingredients.
Alternatively, you don’t want to overstuff your burger with too many ingredients because then you’ll have trouble sealing it and you risk the burger coming unstuffed while cooking.
However, it’s a breeze once you have the process down!
Also, one of my favorite condiments to add to this burger is bacon jam (also linked below). It’s delicious! Simply add on top of the patty when it comes time to assemble the burger.
Two words: bacon jam. Don’t skip this!
Finally, I like to serve the finished burger with steak fries topped with sumac seasoning and salt.
French fries topped with sumac…?
Say what? If you’re unfamiliar with sumac, it is a red spice from the Middle East and it will change your french fry experience.
I was first introduced to sumac spice when we first visited our niece who lives in New York City. She took us to the most amazing Lebanese restaurant called Au Za’atar in midtown east and I still dream about their sumac french fries. This restaurant is a must-try on your visit to New York City!
I hope you enjoy these stuffed burgers! They’re the perfect dinner recipe whether it’s only for two people, four people, or even a crowd.
